The journal welcomes three kinds of submissions, namely:
- original research articles that provide new insights into research in applied linguistics (6,000–8,000 words, including abstracts and references);
- pedagogical articles which combine theoretical and practical aspects (5,000–8,000 words, including abstracts and references);
- theoretical/conceptual articles which conclude in guidelines, recommendations or implications for teachers, teacher trainers, curriculum developers and materials writers (6,000–8,000 words, including abstracts and references).
